No word yet regarding clemency for Robert Thompson. Perry is probably waiting to hear what happens at the U.S. Supreme Court, since if the Court stays the execution, then Perry does not have to decide on whether to accept or reject the recommendation for clemency from the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles.
