I think you should rebrand for the new model. You want the new business model to capitalize on whatever name recognition and so on you've built up. And if you still are thinking about hedging your bets by still trying to pull in business with the current model, I think since you've basically just moved "up the stack" it won't make pulling in new customers for more common small-business design/dev any harder.

Very interested in where you take this... looking forward to the site redesign, too!

I'm not sure I understand the concept behind our mission statement. Yes, I read the email from a week or two ago, but still, I'm confused. I mean, sure, it's clear, but without understanding why it matters, I like "practical" better. Or maybe "comprehensive." After all, "clear" is both an adjective and a verb, and maybe this doesn't make sense but I think it'd be more direct if it were a word that is just an adjective.

Good thoughts from both of you: @Apollo: the mission is to help keep the business in focus and tie all objectives, business tactics and spending inline with the foundation. So, it's more for internal use than customer use. @Chris: Good points, and I think by itself, it might not be that strong. When placed in context, I think it will help those understand what we mean by clear. The context I am referring to is the positioning which was just finished last week. I will publish it soon.
