Adams State Alumni Association Adams State mourns the Dec. 18 death of former college Vice President Dr. John Peter Turano, 87, of Loveland, Colo. He also served as VP of Academic Administrative Affairs, Consortium of State Colleges of Colorado; and as an Accreditation Evaluator with North Central Assoc. He earned a B.A. from ASC, an M.A. in English... from Stanford; and an M.A. and a Ph.D in child psychology from Colorado State College (now UNC).

Adams State Alumni Association The play, Alice in Wonderland, opens Friday; two more music concerts are scheduled including Handel's Messiah, art graduate students are preparing for their final exhibit...it is a wonderful time of year. How do the students manage to create and rehearse and still pass their courses.
Adams State Alumni Association A memorial service for Emeritus Professor of English Jodine Ryan will be held Friday, Nov. 20, at Leon Memorial Hall at Adams State College in Alamosa at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ryan McDaniel Scholarship by check to the Adams State Foundation and sent to 208 Edgemont Blvd., Alamosa, CO, 81102.
Adams State Alumni Association We are very saddened to announce the death of emeritus professor of English Jodine Ryan., who retired from ASC in 1997. She passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, at her Alamosa home under Hospice Care. Adams State extends sincere sympathy to her family, and former students and colleagues.

Dr. John and Mrs. Frances Marvel's warmth, charm, and generous hospitality make them one of Adams State College's most celebrated and loved couples. They are well-deserving of the multitude of honors placed upon them over the years.
