EVESHAM - John Adler may be a Democrat, but the freshman congressman says his party allegiance won't move him to vote for any type of health care reform bill that doesn't significantly address the issue of rising costs.

Thank you thank you thank you for not voting for this monstrosity of a bill! It is going to cost EVERYONE a fortune! People, please read the bill and use some common sense! It has nothing to do with party, this is going to ruin our lives as we know it.

WASHINGTON -- He sits at his desk, staring unhappily at the long list of names and telephone numbers printed on the papers before him. He punches in one number after another, but many of his calls are answered by voice mail. He is annoyed.

Congressman Adler I think you are doing a fine job so far. I hope you keep up the good work and put the priorities of our district ahead of the party (something I respected Jim Saxton for doing). I voted for you last year, and I agree with you on many positions. You are the first Democrat to represent our district in my lifetime, and if you keep up... Read More what you're doing, I am sure you'll be re-elected again next year. Just promise me that you'll support Governor Corzine's re-election bid. He needs all the help he can get, and I do not want to see the corrupt Chris Christie become the next governor of New Jersey.

It can definitely be a difficult task maintaining a Democrat seat in Burlington & Ocean Counties. We need to make sure that John has a strong 2010 campaign and that we get out the vote for John next November. You've got my support!!

If he'd been in the House during the last administration, I would have forgiven him. He would have had too much class to do it, but I would have forgiven him if he had.

I haven't heard anything about whether or not Adler supports the public option. I agree with you guys: when he votes for the public option. I'd also have to see what Adler does for our district over the next 14 months. Although Adler is the first Democrat to represent our area in my lifetime, I have to give Saxton some credit: he did a lot of positive things for our district.
