Joe Lieberman is an American Idiot like George W Bush, Dick Cheney, Sarah Palin, John McCain, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly. No one wants him. He dumped the Democrats the Republicans told him they didn't want him so he became an independent party candidate who sides with the Republicans. He's a closet Republican.

Yes, it's stupid. So what -- it's obviously bad humor. I will say to you, Bryson Lafferty, that it is quite naive to assume that any of these politicians are taking in their boat-loads of money without being corrupt *unless their actions show otherwise*. I don't believe that we've seen anything from Lieberman to suggest that he's not a corrupt tool of the corporate machine.

I have told the Democratic party as much on the phone and in emails, and I hope more people will do the same. The only language these people understand is money, and until they see their pocketbooks being hurt by their failure to represent their constituents, nothing will ever change.

This is not what we hoped for, and there is some question as to whether we should accept this without a stronger public option, but it is a start. We need to keep the pressure on.

I'm very glad that a public option made it into the final bill as I've fought tirelessly for a public option....yet I'm angry that the Stupak amendment made it into the bill.
