Presented by the San Jose State University’s School of Library Information Science organization- Library and Information Science Students to Encourage Networking.
You will need to provide your own photo. The theme is Booville - Scary Book, Scary Night 3
It is Halloween, so d...ress up in your best creature, monster, or avatar costume. The background has to be a Halloween setting. Submit your photo into the contest through the contest board. If

There are two contest boards:A contest board for active SJSU-SLIS students, inactive SJSU-SLIS students, and alumni of SJSU-SLISA second contest board for all other interested individuals who are Second Life members.

Contest entries starts at 6 PM SLT, Friday October 16, 2009. Contest entries stops at 6:00 PM SLT, Friday October 23, 2009.

Contest voting:
Contest voting starts at 6:00 PM SLT Friday, October 23, 2009. Contest voting stops at 8:00 PM SLT Friday, October 30, 2009
Contest winners:
Contest winners will be announced at the SJSU SLIS Halloween event Friday October, 30th at 8:00 PM SLT.
Fee to join: $0 Lindens (Second Life currency)
Fee to vote: $0 Lindens at one vote per person.
Each board will have only one winner!! Highest number of votes wins. Top vote winner takes all!! If there is a tie the winnings will be divided equally between the winners.
The prize will be $1000 Lindens for each board.
To join the board:
1)
Participants select and touch a panel, Click the board and choose 'Sign
Up' button on the blue popup menu. When the panel is yellow you touch
again and select to place your profile picture onto panel.
2)
Drag your picture into the board. It’s best to drag your picture from
your inventory in to the board.
ONLY FULL permission will be accepted
by the board. (Right click on the picture in your inventory, choose
'Properties' and tick (check) all the boxes of: 'Modify', 'Copy' &
'Resell/Give away')
Rules:
-NO NUDE PICTURES ARE ALLOWED! This is a PG Sim!
- Only 1 (one) entry per contestant.
- Only 1 (one) individual per picture (no couples or groups)
- Picture must be taken in costume & have a Halloween background.
- No business advertisements on pictures.
- Not complying with the above rules will result in being disqualified.
- NO weapons, griefing, harassing and disturbing other visitors!
- No refunds of entry fees or votes if an individual is disqualified, or if contestant opts out of the contest.
