These are some replicas I'm making of ancient Egyptian paintings, mostly from tomb walls. I recreate the original artwork on acrylic or watercolor, scan it at high resolution and transfer the print using polymers to a 1/4 inch thick travertine stone fragment. The paper from the print is entirely removed and the ink fuses with the polymer as it dries and cures, similar to the "al fresco" technique.
