1/22/09: A protest by college students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, against proposed budget cuts by the state. The budget proposal but the governor, in the face of a fiscal crisis, would cut funding for higher education by at least half. (It isn't clear where the money is going to come from if the budget isn't cut. The unspoken implication is that the students want a tax increase -- which is still anathema in Nevada.)
