This event will examine both the need and opportunity for U.S. industry to remain competitive globally through smart and sustainable manufactur...ing. American manufacturing is vital to job creation and robust economic growth. Employing innovation and ingenuity in lean, energy-efficient industrial processes will help U.S. manufacturing recapture an international leadership position.
Subject experts will make the case for a renewed focus on domestic manufacturing and a concerted push for modernization across the industrial sector. Smart manufacturing is a broad term that alludes to the use of real-time data and systems integration to reduce energy use and emissions, prevent equipment failure, optimize process efficiency and increase production.
