Sue Hall I have received a letter notifying me that Altra is changing my credit card agreement. I am dumbstruck and appalled that Altra is jumping on the bandwagon with the other unscrupulous lenders in using some of the same tactics that the Federal Reserve has called "unfair or deceptive" and that will be outlawed in fewer t...han four months. On top of that, it insult smy intelligence by saying that they are making these changes “in accordance with new federal laws”. There is nothing in the new federal law requiring Altra to retroactively increase my interest rate. There is nothing in the new federal law requiring Altra to increase my minimum payment percentage.
