I have become more involved with Alzheimer's Society because I am a fan of Kate Mulgrew's, and followed her horrible ordeal with her mother. (She is now a spokesperson for Alzheimer's.) I was inspired by one of her recent speeches in Minnesota and put together artwork about Alzheimer's. I would like to share the ar...twork with the Alzheimer's Society but don't know how to go about it. I would like some info on how to do that. Anything I can do, even if it's just bringing awareness thru my art. Thanks.Read More

Pip Hi, I have just joined your group. My wonderful mum June has Alzheimers. She is very ill now, she has had it for about 13 years. My dad still cares for her at home and does a fabulous job - I am exceptionally proud of him. The Alzheimers Society in Basingstoke have been a great support in times of need for all of us. It is hard because I don't have much time with my dad to just talk. Pip

Maxine i have just started to work for the alzheimer's society i love my job i am a support worker x
