much preferred the stripes but in this brave new world of marketing a new kit every season is the norm to fleece the fans ! And yes I own two actually both signed by the team, though I first thought it was a bad copy of the old early 1980's admiral with the red pinstripes it has grown on me slowly.
But the tiger stripes are what we should be wearing, no one can tell me that last season it didn't warm our hearts seeing the black and amber stripes v the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea Man U etc

1929/30…2008/9…2009/10. Those are the only three seasons in which City have ever had any reasonable chance of winning the FA Cup, or perhaps reaching the final. Th...

A horrendously poor second half performance saw City hammered 4-1 at Wigan this afternoon, and exit the FA Cup after just a single game...

It was a shite performance 2nd half,if anybody else performed like that in a normal job, they would be sacked never mind trying to get transfered.Paid tens of thousands of pounds every month, there taking us fans for a ride, sack brownie and half the team, maybe the ones left will play with some passion and pride.40 years i`ve supported The Tigers, pissed off with this current team.

City kick off the new decade with their second trip to Lancashire in under a week for their FA Cup Third Round tie against fellow Premier League side Wigan at the DW Stadium tomorrow. As ever with Cup weekends, traditions abound...

For the seventh time in two years, by this scribe’s calculations, a club has sacked its manager after a less than presentable result against Hull City. And yet with 45 minutes gone the only manager who seemed in obvious danger was Phil Brown. ...

2 points dropped, no reason to pick the same tired team 48 hours after a gruelling game. Once again like v Blackburn Browns lack of management cost us 2 points, a very mediocre Bolton side were there for the taking, hopefully the only taking Bolton will do is Brown as their new manager !

Until Stephen Hunt’s close range header made it 2-1 with just under 20 minutes left, Hull City simply weren’t in this game, yet still escaped with what could yet prove a most valuable point. Bo...

2 points dropped picking the same tired team, George looked like he was knackered, anyway 1 point better than none but 3 were there for the taking. Megson gone Brown probably going to replace him !

I think the team did well (v Boltan) to come back from 2 goals down with the same side that played 90 Minutes (v Man Utd. They Is a long way to go yet,"IT AIN'T OVER TILL IT'S OVER"They will be a lot of players going in the transfer window to cap the wage bill, also a few surprises. Don't be surprised at players moving on, at the end of the day ... See MoreIts for the good of the club, just look at the trouble clubs have got them selfs In to, some times you have got to make tough decisions . "KEEP THE FAITH" & "KEEP ON SUPPORTING THE TEAM".

Taking positives from defeat is a thoroughly disagreeable exercise, to be avoided wherever possible. Sometimes it’s possible, but usually it’s an activity designed to cocoon ourselves from reality, to pretend things are okay, or to assign a loss to ill-fortune. Grim stuff. An...

Class told in the end, but Hull City put in a sterling performance against the reigning Premier League champions which bodes well for the much more season-defining game against Bolton Wanderers in 48 hours’ time. ...

So, we resign ourselves to a football-less Boxing Day, at the behest of Sky Sports. Of course, admission to the Premier League carries with it the need to accept fixtures being shifted for the benefit of television, but must this particular day be included in that? Evidently so...

With the city’s streets carpeted in snow, it seems appropriate to show highlights of a game where the Boothferry Park pitch was similarly covered. When the game kicked off in the 1992/1993 City v. ...

We won there last season and became, briefly, the Premier League’s darlings. Arsenal won’t have forgotten that in a hurry. They also won’t have forgotten that it took spellbinding incompetence from a referee to allow them to beat us in the FA Cup quarter finals. Arse...
