American Baby

my daughter is 2 years old and were from Bellefontaine, oh. when my daughter starts her tantrums i tell her shes not doing it right usally she stops looks at me and then goes and watches tv, our tantrums never last long.

My daughter, Kaylie, is 4. When she first started having tantrums around 1 I tried my best to just ignore them, but that method can only get you so far in the patience department. One day while she was really going at it I just through myself onto the floor, kicking and screaming and crying just like her. I guess it scared because she just got up and walked off. Being an MD, I've gotten so used to poking other people with needles for tests and shots. When my son, Cameron, got his first shots at 2 months, he was happy as could be, until she stuck him the second time, then he looked up at me, stuck his lip out and gave me one of the biggest sad faces I had ever seen. About 20 seconds later he finally let out a cry for about a minute and then was smiling at me again. He was fine until I went to take off the bandaids later, then the crying returned. He was more upset having the bandaids removed thatn having the shots!

my daughter hates her car seat but loves car rides.. so shes always mad when we first her her ready to go but once were going shes happy. but she loves our walks to walmart the best!

my son always falls asleep about 30 min into a long trips its great time for my husband and i to have some quality grownup talk time favorite family road trip is to the mendocino coast the cool ocean air is great .

my daughter's dad is amazing! despite of his duty in our Country, he never miss his duty to our cute li'l angel.

Even though my brother and his wife don't yet have kids, they are sacrificing time away from watching neices grow up by living in Germany. My brother has been stationed there for a little over a year and Alaska before that. The neices they haven't met range 5 months to 2 years. Thanks to their small sacrifices and others who serve with him and before him, I can raise my daughter in a free country.

movies, books, and art projects!!

we spend the winter visiting places museums, aquariums, the libary, hobby shops with slot car racing, then we get in movies, bowling and acardes too...theres really no reason to stay in....only when the weather is bad, but when that happens no one has cabin fever because we've gotten out so much.

Playdoh, puzzles and building forts.

At about 3 months my daughter really noticed the yellow warning sign with black print on her carseat. She has been fascinated with it ever since.

Between 2 and 3 months, my son really noticed our 2 cats. Every time they will pass near him he will smile and giggles.
