I will definitely pass the word around. Like Martha, I can't watch because it really affects me emotionally. The news, though, does need to go around.

GREAT movie! All the 'animals' are incredible, with their own unique features exaggerated to make them more powerful looking. I loved this movie, but wish I'd seen the 3D version. Maybe next time!

We have 2 amazing dogs we adopted and they have been our greatest joy. They're so smart, loving and were easily trained. Rescued animals really seem to know they have been spared and show you in so many ways.

Well, I believe in and belong to the family of Man"KIND" -- and yes they have been very kind to me when I needed it the most, sometimes even without my asking.

One year, I cooked myself a sumptious Christmas feast, loaded it in the back of Truckula and spent a quiet (cold but I wore my Sunnys Surplus wool stuff) morning at Sandy Point State Park... See More-- with no one but the wild geese and the surf to keep me company. I played Xmas Carols on my harmonica, spilled eggnog on Trucky's rug (oops) and had a great great time. Later on two people walked by and we said hi, but the glory of that day was just my being in touch with nature and in doing so, all the rest of the world.

Even when alone, one is never truly alone-- who knows how much love surrounds us when we are not even aware of it!!

Definitely foster or adopt! Adoption is best, but do research first! A border collie is not going to be content sitting on your lap, nor should you try to make a basset hound a frisbee-catching champ!

HOORAY!!!!! The innocent (spouses and their pets) must NOT be made to suffer just because of the guilty (their abusers). MANY abused spouses REFUSE to leave home if it means leaving their pets behind!! And their actions are understandable-- in MANY cases the abuser has tortured and/or killed the pets to "get back at" the spouse who has left the ... See Morehome. In one instance the husband appeared to be ok and amicable with the pets that the wife had to leave behind-- until the day he killed them both.....
