Peadar: I agree with the point you're making but we decided... to focus on Russia for two reasons. Firstly, in situations like this when you're trying to move a major government, it's better to focus all efforts on a single target. If people are working on two different targets, you can have less impact.

Secondly, although China did also veto, our analysis is that it would not veto by itself. Russia is Syria's main supporter and main arms supplier. If Russia switched, China wouldn't stay by itself, so it makes sense to pick Russia as the main target.See More

Bob Laird What an appalling attitude. Israel is hundreds of years behind the rest of the world in its attitude to land grab and to neighbours who are vulnerable and less able to defend themselves. Nobody anywhere in the world should tolerate the colonialism that is at the heart of Israeli expansion into land outside their legally recognised borders.
