There will be a march and rally in College Point on Saturday, October 17th, step off at 2pm.

The march will go down College Point Boulevard from 20th Avenue to14th Avenue and be followed by a rally/speak out at nearby Popenhusen playground.... Read More

To get there, take the 7 train to Main Street and then the Q65 bus from Roosevelt and Main Street to 20th Ave.

The New York City Anti-Violence Project (AVP) will hold its 13th annual Courage Awards on Monday, November 9, 2009 at the W New York Ballroom at 541 Lexington Avenue, New York. The evening includes cocktails and a chef's tasting and a program featuring the award presentation.
