
Well its Thanksgiving week and those of us at the Appleton Public Library have a cornucopia of reasons to be thankful. We are incredibly thankful for all of our friends and supporters. We are proud to be a part of this wonderful community...

Appleton Public Library Storytimes are going on now through the end of December. Programs are available for babies, toddles, and preschool children. One offering to check out is Stories and Art, offered 5 days a week at 1:30. To learn more about other programs for young children, go to kids.apl.org or call 832-6187.

Reading to kids is vital. On the Washington Post site last week, there was a terrific column including some big points. Authoritatively:
