JunkYard allows you to easily sell your junk on Facebook. It is vital for anyone with junk to buy or sell: tech savvy teens with last year’s ipod, college students buying this semester’s books, or crafty moms selling homemade jewelry.

JunkYard displays items you are selling on your profile for maximum visibility. From your profile, buyers can purchase with just one click. JunkYard also notifies you when some of your junk has been sold and when your friends have posted new junk. Uploaded images of you junk are also stored on in a Facebook album, for ultimate usability.

When Dumpster Diving, you can search a friend’s junk or search for specific items throughout JunkYard. Separate shopping carts per seller allow you to keep track of the junk you are purchasing, as well as alert you of others who are trying to purchase the same junk.

Integrating your Paypal account allows for easy trading. After making a purchase, the order will be verified and updated in your Dockyard. We will update payments if they are refunded or canceled. The Dockyard also allows you to update your shipping status and confirm cash payments.

Once an order has been fulfilled, you can leave comments and rate that user. From these ratings, JunkYard calculates a score that allows users to monitor the reliability of others.
