Make Money for Social Networking!
by Lucy at 7:07am on May 14th, 2008

GET PAID BY DOING WHAT YOU DO ON FACEBOOK!!!

It's working idea trust me, you will see money from just 2 weeks.
A couple facts...

1) Facebook makes over $8 million a MONTH from advertising alone.
2) Myspace makes almost $25 million

WE, the users, don't get any of this, even though WE are the ones making the pages, writing the blogs and uploading the pictures!

There's a brand new social networking site which actually pays its members just to use it!
The site has all of the features of facebook, but here's the best bit, the more you use it, the more you get paid!

You think Facebook has everything you need- That's fine! I love facebook, and only use this site to make money.

Ease of use?
by Geoff at 9:49am on May 8th, 2008
Whilst the idea behind this app is good, it is incredibly frustrating to use. I started about a week ago, and I'm still in the 'S' section of artists.
It would be a big help to break the 'Search' into two options - 'search by title' and 'search by artist'.
Being able to further choose between 'exact phrase' and 'contains' would help too.
It is also tiring to watch the same titles appear on page after page as you flick through, trying to find the one you're looking for. Yes, split them into different formats if you must, but why have the same thing crop up 20 times, pushing the page count into the hundreds??

I really like the way your interface looks for all the "Living Social" Apps. I've tried sharing it with friends, but so far no bites. I have been on the main site and am trying to navigate through all the various aspects.

One thing that I think that would help is a way to network with friends on the site and in the social networks. I don't see a way to do that. (Except maybe in facebook)

Another is to have a widget that will work on other sites, like hi5. I have the app there, but can't link it to my account. The existing widget from the main site seems to be for the user to edit their stuff. not to display it. I noticed it has drop downs. I fear someone could mess with my lists. So I don't use the widget.

Similar sites that I like are goodreads and flixster... so some good ideas may come from there. The nice thing about living social is one place for all of those things.

Great application, would like there to be more categories of interest though between "would like to listen" and "in heavy rotation" would also like to be able to list my fave songs on each album.

Hi - This is a good app.
One thing I do not like is the "Want it" display on my profile will not display albums that "I have heard, yet don't yet own".
Why isn't there a setting for this? They are appearing in the normal albums section, even though I don't yet own them.

Duplicates in the database are definitely a major concern Henrik. We are working to implement a moderation system currently to help tackle this challenge.

How many times are each album in the database?? My guess is 26. And I constantly get recommended albums and artist I mark as "not interested". Just like you just cleaned up the books, you need to get on the music...
