Music Gifts™ is the only application in Facebook™ where you can choose a major or indie label song, listen to a preview clip, and build your own custom music mix that can be shared or gifted with a Facebook™ friend. You can also purchase the mixes as a custom burned and labeled CD and Music Gifts™ will ship it right to your, or your friend’s, door. All this without ever leaving your Facebook™ profile! Most songs are $.99 each and every CD is DRM-Free Red Book quality sound.

As we get started with our offerings, please let us know how you choose, share and build your music library in the Reviews section below. It may not seem like it, but CDs are still the #1 way to purchase and store music. They offer superior sound quality and the versatility to use our DRM-Free tracks anywhere you want to have music.

If you want to play your purchased music on your MP3 player, you can rip your custom CD to your MP3 player just like any CD you would buy in a store. Then you’ll have your MP3 player loaded as well as a CD back up of all your songs.

Enjoy the music!

I like it, anything that helps artists move away from the majors is good. I hope it opens up a little. The interface is a bit clunky and the design is a bit heavy. We use the Music Wall at the moment for our tunes (we like their ethos) http://apps.facebook.com/musicwall/ but we're always looking for new ways to promote and sell... Nice one guys.

We are currently looking at options to simplify or make the flow and options of the application easier to understand. Suggestions are always welcome.

i think it's a cool idea, but the application is pretty confusing.i think it might be hard for people to get used to unless it is simplified a little. i really do like this though! great idea!

Thanks for the suggestion. I will put that on the list!
We have a lot of plans for Music Gifts, a long list actually. Here is a peak at what we have planned in no particular order:

1. Download to your computer for purchased tracks
2. Streaming from your facebook account of full tracks
3. Featured artists
4. More artist information
5. More detail on albums
6. Browse by genre
7. PayPal and other payment methods
8. Favorites and bookmarks
9. User Libraries
10. Preferences
11. Fan sharing and user based fan content
12. Foreign metadata (information about music not in Media Mouth's library.
13. Ranking of music and statistics
14. DJ style search for music (play and preview + 2 channels)
15. Video
16. Dedications and other ways of sharing music
17. More content.

I hope we get to all of it and more!
