From our friends at Public Discourse, in the wake of the “Climate-gate” controversy, a scientist at Princeton University argues for a sensible view on climate change and CO2:I believe that the increase of carbon dioxide is not a cause for alarm and, in fact, will be good for mankind. Be...

Anyone with half a brain knows that; it only got hyped because of the "legitimate" news companies Hyping it up! (I say "legitimate" with MUCH sarcasm...)

I spoke with my house plants today. They told me they have no advocate, so would I speak for them. I agreed. They want everyone to know that if CO2 is classified a pollutant, their ability to photosynthesize and make Oxygen will be devastated. You see CO2 (along with light) is the primary ingredient in photosynthesis, the only job a plant has.

They are so concerned about their future that they wanted you to know that if we reduce CO2, that we'll not only harm animals (who use the primary by-product of photosynthesis -- O2), but we'll also be destroying their livelihood (O2 production) for purely political ends, and that's not fair.

They understand the concerns about global warming, but they wanted you to know they like it warm -- they get more sunshine when it's warm out, and thus they can produce more Oxygen, which is a good thing.... See More

But, since no one is listening to the plants -- there is no K-street lobbying firm to advocate for them, their needs are ignored, run over like so much roadkill on the highway of politics.

So, please, on behalf of your house plants and their cousins the trees in the forests, stop the madness -- down with carbon taxes!!! Free the Plants.

Yup. I signed on as soon as it was released at the press conference. It is a wonderful sign of unity in the Body of Christ, and of those willing to take a stand.
