Hi here are some Usages:
1.Create your account.
After extension installed, from Firefox menubar, select Tools,find Facebook Chat History Manager menu, and select Create Account. The ID used to create local account is a ten or more digit number that facebook used to identify each member. Please go to your profile page and find the parameter id=xxx in the browser address bar.
An account is necessary to ensure one can only view his/her own messages. The chat history manager will save your chat message automatically silencely.
2.View chat history.... See More
There are two ways:
a: Press Controll+Alt+F to open chat history window. This need you login.
b. From Firefox menubar, select Tools,find Facebook Chat History Managermenu, and select View History

I received many complaints that it can't log messages occasionally so I modified the method about how to fetch messages. The new method is supposed to be more stable and efficient.
You don't have to re-set name and password after update.

Lisa Ye i installed 1.0.1, created an account with the ID number and password, chat with some friends, and tried to view the history but couldn't! What happened?

Lucie Boulanger Installed Facebook chat history manager 1.0.7 > created account with email as a facebook ID and password > chated with many people on chat > pushed a button "view history" but nothing there! Friends list is empty and some history too! Where is problem?

James L. Winchester i am trying to pull up my chat history when i put in my id it shows my daughters chat history and when she put her id in it shows her chat history only also. how can i get it to show everybody history seperately. her friends and history is the only ones showing up

Yes, it's designed like this. But you should create your local account first in order to view chat history. For usage please go to the application page.
