Cathy Benedict Just attended the funeral of Anita Benedict , 75 and mother of 6, who bravely carried on with her beautiful life while enduring unspeakable pain. A dear cousin of mine is currently undergoing chemo. We need to find the cure to stop the suffering & loss of these beautiful people. Buy products that support the pink ribbon please. I do.

Pat The new guidelines about having mammograms after the age of fifty is absurd. My mother's breast cancer was diagnosed at 42 and mine at 44, if we had waiting until 50, it would have been to late.

Barry Barclay In March I flew to Paris and then drove to Aix-en-Provence where my wife Glenna was a student. She died of breast cancer at the age of 31 after teaching us a lot about courage. She was my dear friend and the mother of our daughter Mandy aged nine. When I was saying my goodbyes in her hospital room I promised her that I... would use whatever talents God had given me and as a recent Ph D graduate in molecular biology to try to figure out the mechanism of a disease that would take the life of an otherwise healthy young woman. I then carried on to St Gallen Switzerland where I gave an invited presentation describing the first coherent mechanism for sporadic breast cancer tumorigenesis. I gave my presentation in the spirit of keeping a promise I made almost 30 years ago. It was very well received by most experts in the field. It is my hope this mechanism will help to come up with new ways to prevent, diagnose, and hopefully one day cure the disease.

Elisa Pastore After being free of cancer for about 20 years my aunt just got horrible news...it is back now on the other breast after having her breast removed 20 years ago and she got the news on the birthday please pray for her
