Q: How do I add my flags?
A: Click on the tab “My Heritage”. You should be at Step 1 of 3. Choose the countries of your heritage. When finished, click “Next”. At Step 2, choose where you were born, where you currently live, and then finally what you would like to be called. When finished, click “Next”. At Step 3, add your family members and click “Finished” when done.
Q: How can I remove a heritage flag that I uploaded?
A: It depends if you created your own flag or if you selected a flag from a list:
• If you have added a flag from a list, you can remove it by going to the “My Heritage” tab and clicking “Edit” located underneath your list of flags. If you are editing a country flag, this will bring you to Step 1 of choosing your heritage. To remove a country flag, find the country you would like to remove and uncheck it. Press Save. If you are editing a state or city flag, this will bring you to Step 2 of choosing your heritage. To remove a state or city flag, go to the drop down menu and choose the first selection which is “Select…”. Then click “Finish”. The state or city flag should now be deleted.
• If you created your own flag and you made an error, please contact us and let us know what flag is incorrect and under what country/state it is categorized. We will remove it as soon as possible.
Q: Where are all the Native American flags? Are they still there?
A: We actually had so many that we reorganized them. They can be found under the United States in Step 1 by clicking the “Ethnic Minorities” link.
Q: How do I change the percentages for each of my heritage flags?
A: Click on the tab “My Heritage”. Locate where your country flags are. Click on “organize” located underneath the country flags. Select the percentages for each flag. When finished, click “Save”.
Q: Is there a way to rename my flags?
A: Yes, first, click on the tab “My Heritage”. Locate where your country flags are. Click on “rename” located underneath the country flags. Change the names of the flags that you want to rename. When finished, click “Save”.

A: We have just the thing for your special heritage needs. First, go to Step 2. You can do this by pressing the “edit” link next to the flags of your place of birth or where you live. Once in Step 2, find the “Add another section” link under the “I live in” section. Then enter the header as you want it to appear in your profile (I grew up in, I also live in, etc.) and select your locations. You can add as many sections as you want.
