i love it when the people you are waiting for arrive safely.

People watching! I get alll sorts of ideas for the book I am writing.

People awaiting arrivals with loved ones.. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame store at the Cleveland Hopkins airport and the liquor samples at the stores ( yes, they go really fast) in Costa Rica !!

love people watching: the ones who are coming and the ones who are leaving, they have all the emotions all together.

Watching all the people.....it is pure entertainment, some talking on the phone as if the world could not go on without them.I actually saw a woman about 36 all dressed in pink, and her man on her arm about 57, all dressed in pink(obviously she made him wear it) and he was pulling her pink luggage. When they were out of sight everyone sitting in the lounge area was laughing and shaking their heads.

I like the hustle and bustle and all the windows...

i like to read those small billboards about the town you're in, especially in kentucky, they're pretty interesting.

This was a first for me. I went to Phoenix airport and they have a drug store... That was great..

People watching. A chance to read a book, guilt-free! A chance to browse the bookstore & not feel like you are wasting time....

Striking up conversations with other travellers, shopping, getting good exercise walking through the terminals, having time to sit back and read a good book, and having a long wait over at the Dallas airport and seeing so many good looking cowboys! :)

I love that, when a bump forces a brief overnighter in MSP, you can go upstairs to the quiet lounge and sleep on a couch instead of paying for a hotel room for five or six hours.

what i think about in an airport is actually the food... although you are limited, sometimes you get to have great food... on my way to egypt i had pain au chocolat in charles du galle... ive never been outside the airport but i got to have my favorite french food! :)

Ya know, after flying United econo 5 hr non stop last night, I can't think of a single thing!!!!

Get a couple of wines offsite, tuck yourself in a corner, read until your flight is called. missing your flight depends on the No of wines you bought offsite. Food, who eats that before a flight. ???

What's great about all the extra time that has to be spent at an airport is the people. Each person has a story, good or bad. people are just so-o interesting. All you need to do is listen and the airport gives you that time, if you take it!

Duty-Free @ the Frankfurt Airport was the best....

The 10 or 20 minute massage and 10 min manicure at some airports is great!!
