Craig MotionX, latest version of GPS, having a problem with downloading maps. iPhone 3gs, 16gb. According to iPhone and iTunes, I have 259mb available on my device. I'm trying to download maps for a very small area -- according to GPS the used space is 13.9gb, tile set is 264.0kb (not mb), total usage will be 14.3gb. Cal...culation seems wrong because 13.9gb + 264kb != 14.3gb. Then when I try to proceed, I get an error that I have insufficient disk space, please remove some data or media (even though I have 259mb free and the 22 tiles in the set only take up 264kb).
Kent Nickell Just installed MotionX-GPS Drive on my 3GS. Love it so far, it is a awesome value!! One question...is there a way to set the Current Location so I can simulate a trip (and cache the maps) starting from a location other than where I am at the moment? I have a trip coming up and don't think the coverage is going to be... too great once I get out of the area of the airport. Thanks!!

It s been 2 weeks I m using the application and I m pretty satisfied
As a recommendation, I would like to be able to check myself the traffic on the route I m currently on or on a selected route-area on the map, we should also be able to choose from alternative routes or change the recommended r...oute with what we already know that is the prefered way to go somewhere, phone should also be integrated so we don t have to turn GPS off if we want to make a call. I m not sure if we can see our speed somehow, I haven t seen that anywhere. And at the end, it would be a good idea to be able to estimate gas consumption and estimated cost for a route predictively before starting or/and at the end after reaching destination. I hope we see all those soon!

Tony Farrow MotionX - GPS - Using the App for DownHill Skiing. Has great features to show where you went over the MTN. Additional features for Ski - total vertical skied for the track; total # of runs skied (increment runs when vertical increases by 150m (configurable)). Definitely can replaces ski watch with those two features.

Love the Drive app. Did the one-month live voice trial and bought a full year package the day the trial expired - thanks!
One suggestion: would it be possible to provide an option within the app to switch between the internal speaker & the bluetooth speaker connection (similar to what the iPod app does?)

Love Drive, and have GPS (Sport) also. Constantly amazed at the fire you guys have for updating/improving your apps.
I came across a problem recently that I wonder if there's a fix for: I needed to use Drive, but was in an area where there was no data available. Could Drive calculate a route without data, just using the cached maps?
Jaime is there a way to see the length/duration of a trip once you put in the address? or am I missing where to find that in the app?
Colby I'm Canadian and will be traveling to the US soon but don't want to use my data plan (huge fees for data roaming). Is there any way to save/cache map tiles for certain areas (like you can do with your other GPS app)? In other words, will it work without a network connection?
