About K-Sync
K-Sync stands for Knowledge Synchronization. This is a patent-pending technology that Septet Systems has created to enable any Web user to rapidly construct information collections on any topic. These collections may be accessed through widgets, Web directories, search engines, RSS feeds, email, SMS alerts, and so on. K-sync collections give Web sites extra utility to their existing base of visitors while providing an innovative solution towards attracting new users. K-sync collections cover any topic: your favorite movie, rock stars, academic subjects, corporate matters …. you name it!
K-sync collections are easy to build. Simply enter the K-sync application and choose “create collection”. From there, you enter the name of the collection and keywords that describe it. When you create the collection, you can select 1) if you want facebook friends to be notified that it was created, and 2) if you will allow your friends to change it. Once created, your collection will get updated regularly – automatically or manually. Allowing your friends to change the collection is a collaborative way to expand and refine the collection by leveraging the expertise of the contributors. Stay tuned for new features and functionalities!
