WhatsApp version 2.4 should now be live and available for download. if you are still having connections problems, check verison number under WhatsApp Settings > About. earlier there was (and could still be) an iTunes glitch where you still get version 2.3 instead of 2.4 on your device.
WhatsApp we submitted 2.4 with networking fix on saturday and are working with apple to get 2.4 approved as quick as possible. meanwhile we removed the app from the following countries which are having netowrk problems: France, Singapore, Switzerland, and Austrlia. as soon as 2.4 is approved, will re-enable those countries back in.

WhatsApp looks like 3G connectivity is only affecting those in France, Kuwait and Switzerland. we have a fix for it, will submit 2.4 with that fix today. hopefully apple can approve it quickly (will tell them its urgent bugfix)
WhatsApp sorry, i wasn't clear enough: we want to know if whatsapp connects and works over Wi-Fi but does NOT work over your 3G/UMTS connection. thanks..
WhatsApp if you are having connectiong problems, please provide the following info: 1) country 2) mobile carrier name 3) does app still work on Wi-Fi
WhatsApp IMPORTANT: 2.3 is out, but some of Apple iTunes distribution and download servers have NOT been properly updated yet with new software. there is nothing we or you can do about it. just please give them time to update and try to download again in 24 hours.
WhatsApp version 2.3 is done. we want to take a couple of days to do thorough testing and will submit to apple early this week. btw, 2.3 will be simpy amazing, trust me!

It has been about two months since our last blog entry. We’ve been meaning to write something up, but we’ve been really busy working on all the new features you’ve been requesting (version 2.3 will be simply amazing btw!)
