John Grunsfeld, NASA astronaut and University of Chicago alumnus, will lecture about his experiences working in orbit on the Hubble Space Telescope at 6 p.m., Oct. 28, at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Grunsfeld upgraded the telescope with new cameras and instruments and made repairs to allow the telescope ...to start a new journey of discovery last May.
This event is presented by the Chicago Council on Science and Technology (C2ST) in partnership with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Chicago. Admission is free to the lecture. Guests are encouraged to RSVP by visiting www.c2st.org.
