I'm Chris Guillebeau, and I publish the Art of Non-Conformity (AONC) site.

AONC is a web site, blog, small business, and forthcoming book. The goal of each of these projects is to help people live unconventional lives. The strategy is world domination; the tactics are creative self-employment, travel hacking, and connecting with fun people.

I also have a personal goal of visiting every country in the world before my 35th birthday in 2013. So far I'm on track, but it's getting harder - my current total is 117 countries, and I have more than 70 left to go. I chronicle the journey on the site, and you can also see the master list of where I've been.

The Unconventional Guides Business

In addition to my writing and travel work, I'm also an entrepreneur and support myself by creating information products based on the needs of my readers.

The Book

In September 2010, the Art of Non-Conformity book will hit the shelves. I'll be traveling throughout North America to meet readers and raise money for a partnership with Charity Water.

I also have meetups with readers wherever I go – so far in Bangkok, Cairo, Chile, Los Angeles, New York, Portland, and more. Whenever I'll be in town, I'll post the next meetup info here.
