Daisy Summers Birds Eye View Film Festival is always looking for volunteers.
Birds Eye View celebrates and supports international women filmmakers. Founded as a short film event in 2002, we launched the UK’s first major women’s film festival in 2005, which showcases the best work from women filmmakers at the BFI Southbank and Institute Contempor...ary Arts, London, each March. We are now developing year-round activity with our FIRST WEEKENDERS CLUB - promoting the all-important opening weekends of cinema releases of films written and directed by women, and the BEV LABS - specialised training programmes for women writers, ensuring that more films written by women get made. We also tour festival highlights and run events for female filmmaking talent across the country. Our patrons include Joanna Lumley, Juliet Stevenson, Martha Fiennes, Sarah Radclyffe, Stephen Woolley and Gurinder Chadha. We are currently one of eight national festivals supported by the UK Film Council Festivals Fund. To keep in touch please sign up to our mailing list: http://www.birds-eye-view.co.uk/signup
