Minneapolis Institute of Arts Thank You Minnesota. Together We Raised More Than $14 Million For More Than 3,000 Minnesota Nonprofits on Give to the Max Day.

Minneapolis Institute of Arts
Dear MIA fans,
As a fan of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, you champion our mission: The MIA enriches the community by collecting, preserving, and making accessible outstanding works of art from the world's diverse cultures. We appreciate your ongoing support and value your commitment.
We are excited to announce that... you can help leverage additional support for the MIA by taking part in Give to the Max Day, sponsored by GiveMN.org, an online giving portal allowing Minnesotans to strengthen their nonprofit community. Up to $500,000 in matching contributions will be available through GiveMN.org, from 8 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, to 8 a.m. Wednesday, November 18. This is a great time to make a contribution and maximize your support of the MIA!
Launched with funding from several area foundations to benefit Minnesota nonprofit organizations, GiveMN.org provides a safe and secure giving portal that will not share your information with any other organizations. All transaction fees are covered by the partners, ensuring 100 percent of your donation goes directly to your intended recipient.
GiveMN.org is also offering grant prizes to the three nonprofits receiving donations from the most individual donors on Give to the Max Day. To make your donation and enable matching funds on November 17, go online to GiveMN.org.
Thank you for your generous and continued support!
Ann Benrud
Director of Membership
*Individual donation transactions greater than $2,500 will be eligible for matching gifts up to $2,500 only. For example, if a donor makes a $2,500 donation to an organization, the full $2,500 will be eligible to receive a portion of the matching funds. If instead she donated $10,000 to an organization, only $2,500 would be eligible to receive a portion of the matching dollars.
Examples of how the matching dollars will work: if Give to the Max Day inspires $500,000 in donations, we will provide $1 in matching funds per dollar donated to an organization; if Give to the Max Day inspires $2,000,000 in donations, we will provide $.25 in matching funds per dollar donated to an organization.
Double your donation to the MIA ONE DAY ONLY!
