All crew members from RC indo gathered together last Friday 13th for the annual staff day out.
Meeting at 7am in the office, the crew was divided into five groups, each wearing a different colour: red, green, blue, yellow and white.
Each group left on buses heading to Ubud, an art village in the heart of the island.
The a...ction started with a bicycle ride through the beautiful rice paddies towards a secret lunch meeting place. After half of the crew got lost and cycled too far, they finally found their way back for a short rest together before walking to the games area situated in the middle of some rice fields. Arriving there, the crew got a nice welcome drink – a fresh coconut – and had lunch together.
With new energy the crew was ready to get the games started! First game was a fishing competition with the red team winning.
Then the Mud games began… suspended 1.5m over a disused Rice paddy was a huge bamboo pole, competitors then fought battles hitting each other with pillows in order to make the other one fall down into the mud. It was no other than Rip Curl’s Group co founder François Payot, who started the first fight, beating Pete Matthews from the core division.
It was a full day of fun and action with everyone showing their dirty side… as the photos show……
