We don't live and die by wine ratings, but sometimes helpful to further educate the consumer. Thoughts??

We don't advertise scores on the basis that we believe that this in fact does not educate the consumer. It rather almost imposes one person's own personal taste.

We believe that you should be buying wines based on your own personal preferences, what you're cooking or even your own personal convictions about the wine making process.

Rather than base what you're bringing home around what one person thinks about it, we'd like you to take home something you'll enjoy because that's what you like.

Fair enough...but I don't need to agree with Parker's taste to understand what he considers an 88 vs a 95. It simply would be another data point in making purchase, no different than what we do to book hotels, try restaurants, but consumer goods, etc...but I do get that people rely too heavily on these ratings and would dismiss a 'lower rated' wine that may end up being the nbest thing they've ever tasted. Either way, I respect that's your stance on the subject!
