Professor Catherine O'Grady will discuss current cases in the United
States Supreme Court from the 2008–09 and the 2009–10 terms. The
Supreme Court cases will involve a variety of areas of law, including
constitutional law and criminal procedure. In particular, Professor
O'Grady will focus on current cases that have come f...rom Arizona or that
involve our state. She will explain the relevant facts and
circumstances underlying each case and explore the policy and legal
issues raised before the Supreme Court. No particular expertise or
knowledge of the law is necessary to enjoy this talk.

issues for Arizona's and Prescott's economies. The approach will
include a look at major U.S. trading partners, the national economic
outlook, and the economic performance of states in the Western region
compared to Arizona. Key indicators for... Arizona and Prescott will
include employment by industry, unemployment rates, housing and
construction, and population growth. Prescott indicators will be
compared to the state as a whole, as well as metro areas. The economic
outlook for Arizona and Prescott through 2010 will be presented, along
with a review of factors influencing long-term growth.
