Atlas Snow-Shoe Company
No one demands more from their gear than an Atlas customer. That's why we engineer, test and build each snowshoe to deliver performance and comfort in the harshest mountain conditions.

Atlas Snow-Shoe Company Another contest is in order. A set of Atlas snowshoe poles goes to the first person to post a group photo (3+) on the Atlas Wall. Must be on snow, with your Atlas snowshoes and something that identifies that it's recent (piece of paper with the date, etc). We'll toss in some Atlas headsweat hats for the rest of the g...ang. Now get some friends together and get out there!

Gwendolyn

Gwendolyn Hi - I just bought the Atlas run snowshoes and used them for the first time today. Where I do my daily runs, I have to cross a paved road about every 1/3 to 1/2 mile. I tried to gingerly walk across the roads today, but it seems like it is still bad for the metal on the snowshoes. I hope to be able to take the shoes ...out onto real trails every once in awhile, but this is what I 'm stuck w/ for now. Any suggestions how to get across the roads w/out ruining the shoes? I appreciate any help!

While our snowshoes are very durable, they are built for snow and other than removing them I don't know of any other solution for paved surfaces. Perhaps our FB community has some suggestions.

Dan The night running up the mountain has been awesome. Not enough snow where groomers are a problem. More snow on the way too!

An incredible experience for those who have never tried it . . . so long as your not being chased through a hedge maze by Jack Nicholson.

Awesome! Sounds like quite the adventure, those snowshoes will be just the ticket on the Tundra. We'll be waiting for some pics of those 11 series in action.

Will do for certain. My wife and I live in the Alaskan bush country and your shoes get us outside more often and we travel much farther than we would ever go without them. Thanks again for making a product that doesn't suck, even at -40.

Katie, if your trek wasn't on a traditional trail, I'd love for you to write about it on my new website specifically focusing on snowshoeing in the NW. http://www.nwsnowshoeing.org. This site is very new and very much a work in progress. Thanks!

Funny how dogs enjoy the deep stuff despite their total lack of ground clearance. Keep those pics of your loyal snowshoe companions coming, they're often our best motivation to get out there.
