Cape Cod Offseason Weird Maine related personal attack page that I thought I would pass
on. It seems to have been started by a businessperson who wants to
personally discredit a competitor. Accurate or not it seems potentially
creepy so I thought I would pass it on. I am not from the area so
please excuse me if the business is not near your ...area or if your
facebook page is not the correct channel to go
through...http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000661772305

Janet

Janet There is a problem with the traffic light at the bottom of South Main Street(in front of Rolly's). If you are on South Main, turning on to Main St it will not turn green, if it does it only lets 1 or 2 cars thru before turning red again. This has been going on for a few weeks now. I have sat at that light with NO tr...affic waiting at any of the other lights, but it stays red. I have also waited while lights have changed on three other lights, 3 or 4 times and the So. Main light does not get a turn. I either avoid that intersection or if I have to use it, I end up going thru a red light after waiting up to 5 minutes... Please have someone look into it. Thanks

Kelly Carr Why have there been "Road Closed" signs on half of Park Ave recently?? Is there construction, or are they being used as a detour around the Vista Drive Christmas lights?

Jodi

Jodi Just found this on the Scarborough PD site. Thought it was a great idea so I thought I'd pass it on to the APD considering all the special needs facilities in the area.

Auburn (Maine) Police Department The APD would like to remind you of the dangers of running red lights. The Fed. Highway Admin. states that roughly 40% of collisions take place at intersections, leading to head-on & broadside crashes, causing serious injuries and 800-1000 fatalities each year. The APD reminds you that we enforce red light violations - please drive safely!

I agree with Beth. Those cameras should be in use and enforced, not just a warning. Someone is going to get killed and I don't want it to be me or one of my two children who drive!

People turning right run the red light at the Center St. Turner St. intersection all the time. Many times I have had a green to go from Turner across Center St. and almost gotten hit. Should be a no turn on red sign there at the least.
