I'd ask for a kindle for Christmas...but we're stuck on dialup till God knows when (out in the country) so I highly doubt the "books in 60 seconds" would apply to me.

Mark

Mark Sir, your novels and one of your esteemed colleges, Mr. S. King are my personal favorites w/I need to escape daily realities. Thank you for years of wonderful reading!!!

Robert,
18 years ago, an old friend gave me SWAN SONG. It still ranks as one of my top 10 all time favorite novels. In the many years that have passed since I first read your book, I've shared it and recommended it to many friends. I've purchased it as a gift for many, and always hoped that one day there would be a TV... or film adaptation.
I just read today that there is a new illustrated version of the book out, but I cannot find it anywhere. Can I purchase one or two signed copies from you directly?
Thanks again for some great stories.
Rich

The new edition of SWAN SONG that should be in stores within the next week is a non-illustrated, trade paperback edition from Pocket Books.

There was an illustrated hardcover edition published by Dark Harvest back in 1989, but it's long out-of-print and usually sells for big $$$ when it shows up on eBay (there are actually a couple of them up on eBay right now).

Brett Gibbs

Brett Gibbs It's when I read the first line of a Robert McCammon novel that I know I'm in for a wicked read. My favorite is from Gone South..."It was Hell's season and the earth smelled of burning children." Very powerful words! Mr. McCammon you are the best!!!

Kyle Bakke

Kyle Bakke Hey, Hunter, does the new Swan Song coming out next week have an introduction in it?
If so, will you post it like you did with Gone South and Boy's Life? Thanks.

Amici:Boy’s Life ... a recommended read from the good fellas (not goodfellas) at Men Reading Books (who have been more than kind to yours truly). This Robert McCammon novel was written from the perspective of a young boy growing up in the small town of Zephyr, Albama. ...

Shawn Ridley

Shawn Ridley Just finished reading Ushers Passing. Preordered a copy of Mister Slaughter and am anxiously waiting for January. Thank you for all of your books.

Anne

Anne I know you probably hear this a lot, but you are my most favorite author (I love your work even more than Mr. SK). With others, I can immediately see a pattern in their literary work, but yours is like a rollercoaster ride in the unknown, and that is so exciting! Thank you for your gift of writing.

Just finished Bedlam yesterday and loved it. You always leave me wanting more. Reading the Matthew Corbett series isn't like watching a movie some of your other books. Each time you pick the book back up is like the next episode in a serialized television drama. A serialized drama with it's own humor, romance, adventur...e, action, sleaze and mystery.
I think I'm gonna re-read Boy's Life and,or Gone South while I wait for Slaughter to get out of bedlam.

OH MY GOD...OH MY GOD!!!!! I cant belive I have found you on Facebook!!
I picked up Boy's Life in a 7 eleven shop years ago .. I mean more then 10 yrs ago... and must of read that book over 3 times and there was always another part of the story I had forgotten about. Sadly I made a mistake and lent it to a friend a ...few years back and never got it back ( we all live and learn huh?) I have to say I found Boy's Life amazing and still talk about it now... and the way you worte about the divide regarding the black side of town and the white side , was sooooo amazing .. Like Cory knows it should not be that way but it just is ... Hopefully I will get myself another copy ...... going to try your other books as well...Read More
