
Back Roads and Beaches We’re working on updating the BRaB maps and website for 2010. Adding new stops and making a slight route change that will include the new, sustainable, Vermilion Valley Vineyards on the route. That makes six wineries on or just off of, Back Roads and Beaches. Some of the wineries also make for great meal stops along the route.

Back Roads and Beaches Thorn Mountain Bike Trail update from the North Coast Mountain Bikers: Leaves have been blown off the trail and it's in great shape to ride. NCMTB club will be out tonight doing a night ride.

Back Roads and Beaches Whoa! Mother Nature has handed us a bonus weekend. 60s and sunny Sat and Sun. I've already seen weekend cyclists on the route today. Great weather for birdwatching kayak trip up the Black River or Findley State Park...so....Enjoy!

Back Roads and Beaches Some of the annual Lorain Wheelmen's Red Flannel ride takes place along the Back Roads and Beaches route. Here are some riders we captured on film today.

Back Roads and Beaches Word from the North Coast Mountain bikers is that the Thorn Trail at Findley State Park is a little wet but still fun and rideable. Nab will be out there blowing leaves off the over 9-mile trail Sat.

11:45am: Don Pease Bike Path dedication with music by the Oberlin High School Band. The bike path will be dedicated in honor of Congressman Don Pease at the Oberlin Depot, where the bike path meets Main St. (SR 58)
