Ben Nesselhuf for Secretary of State 32 hours to go!!!The next 32 hours are going to be incredibly important to our campaign. When we decided to run for this position we knew that we would have to run a different kind of campaign. It has been 35 years since a democrat won this important office. We knew that we would have to work tirelessly. Our first s...tep was creating an online presence. We succeeded in putting together a top rate website and facebook page. Within a few weeks we have almost 1000 supporters on facebook and it is growing every day. Our next step was an aggressive fundraising plan. We set a goal for 2009 that was higher than any candidate for Secretary of State had every raised the year preceding an election. I am very pleased to report that we are less than $2000 away from achieving that goal. With your help we can get there. This report is a very important sign of strength. It is vital that we prove we have a viable campaign and that we are in a strong position to win this election. Please take a minute to click on the link below. Your contribution of $10, $25, $100 or any amount you feel comfortable with is vital at this stage in the campaign. The next 32 hours are going to be incredibly important. With your help, we can make a statement that we are the team to beat.

Ben Nesselhuf for Secretary of State I emceed the Brule County Democrats banquet last month and this appeared in the Chamberlain paper. My dad ended up getting top billing over both myself and Scott Heidepriem. If he wasn’t such a great father I might be resentful. :)

I was very disappointed to hear the judge’s decision in the Roger Hunt shell corporation case. Open and transparent campaign finance reports are vital to ensure the integrity of our elections. http://www.argusleader.com/article/20091 109/UPDATES/91109036
