Ali Keefer Dash How crowded does Bengies get on a Saturday night? When is the best time to come?

Stephen M. Deininger Last weekend they announced that they had booked Harry Potter.

Summer Walter
I was just reading some of the older posts and there was one I tend to agree with! First of all, let me say that we as a family thoroughly enjoy coming to bengies. We have 4 children ranging from 15 months -14 years old! Where else can we go as a family and enjoy a movie/movies? Not to mention the prices here are GREAT!! So a HUGE thank you on that!!
Now, I must say that the last time we went you had Dance Flick, Transformers, and Hangover showing. While my husband And I were excited about the line up, we did not stay to see Hangover because it was so late by the time it started!! And as far as Dance Flick goes, we were curious about that movie, but had NO IDEA the content of that movie and did not know that it WAS NOT family friendly!!
I know it is very tough trying to satisfy everyone, but when you are showing a family movie like Transformers, of which we all wanted to see, it may be best in the future to show a family/kid friendly movie first!

Hildy Eppel Hassman
For the last two years we have treated our 80 plus year old dad to a fun night of nastalgia and great movies...and are planning another outing soon - can't wait =)
Yayyy...I have been wanting to see Benjies on FB!!!

Robin Bradshaw Way back yonder, when we were kids, my grandparents used to run a flea market during the day on Saturday and Sunday at Bengies. I had a lot of great times there during the day, too.

Claire
hey question
do you just sit in your cars? or is there somewhere you can bring a blanket and sit on with friends? I've never been before and trying to go tonight! Thanks

Anthony Favaro My last two visits were great with the exception of my run-in with your pot holes. The roads should be better paved leading to the field. I nailed a pothole that I could of avoided with a little light. If the expense of filling them is costly please try sand. When your driving in the dark and you hit a pothole on low-profile rims it could be costly (doesn't matter your speed).

Stephen I loved Bengies, but now it seems the owner is more about money than the experience. No more Coke products, and if my friends from New Jersey drive down to the theatre and I drive up alone from VA, I can get denied access because I am only one ticket price instead of 4? I mean seriously? Yes, you say its your house, your rules. So I just won't even bother knocking on the front door.

Victoria Sterling Pearson I tried to see transformers last weekend and it was sold out. First time that has happened since I can remember.

Vanessa Yacola I remember going to see Texas Chain Saw Massacre after drinking many, many, many Tom Collins. It wasn't pretty and I can't even look at a bottle of Gin!

Anne at 4:39pm July 1
I remember seeing a little of that movie there!

Dawn Lauer Does anyone remember going to see " The Town that Dreaded Sundown" at the Bengies years ago?

Anne at 4:39pm July 1
Dawn can't believe its still around !
Carolyn at 2:50pm July 3
omg....can't remember a whole lot from there...lol...just was past there today!

Gina Cross I read in the e-mail you may deny single people from entering the Bengies due to the behaviors of some. Sometimes I don't have anyone to go to the Drive In with so I have to go alone. A lot of my friends only go to indoor theatres :-(

The Bengies Drive-in Theatre DouBBle Feature Thursday & Sunday this week: Transformers2 & The Hangover. TriPPPle Feature Friday & Saturday: Imagine That/Transformers 2/The Hangover

Chadd Heathen I've done naughty things at Bengies and I've even managed to watch a movie or two.

Dawn I would like to ask for a family friendly movie this holiday weekend--at least for the early movie...and please keep transformers! :)

Frank M. Carter III When can we expect the 4th of July weekend line-up? :)

Sean Blandford Going to Bengies tonite for Transformers/The Hangover, for the first time. Can anyone tell me how early I should get there? Do you just get in line and wait till the box office opens? How much room is there to line up in before it backs up on the road?

The Bengies Drive-in Theatre We sold out tonight! Thanks to everyone for their cooperation.

Stephen M. Deininger
Has anyone been distracted by the lights at Royal Farms? I have to say, I've been to 4 shows this year, parked in 4 very different sections, and have not noticed the lights unless I looked for them. I get the principle of fighting it, but I just wanted to share my experience for context.
Enjoyed The Hangover last night.
Stephen at 7:12pm June 29
Michael, I get they don't show up on the screen. I'm saying I don't even notice them at all unless I'm looking for them. They are so far out of my field of vision that it isn't ruining anything. I'm not sure how they would impact the quality of the movie if I never notice them.
Janis at 9:52am June 30
The screen looks the same to me that it did last year. The lights are not a problem at all. They kept going on about some strobe effect, but I haven't noticed anything at all.

Theresa Chavez ahhhh, the memories....29 years ago TODAY...went to Bengie's...to see "Prom Night"...didn't see all of it.......my son was born 9 months later.......***grin***

The Bengies Drive-in Theatre We can't say this enough, Arrive Early! Especially this weekend. TriPPPle Feature, Dance Flick/Transformers 2/The Hangover.

Dawn It's Friday....what is on the schedule for this weekend? The website only lists for Wed & Thurs. And I think a LOT of people would want to see Harry Potter when it comes out.

Kelly I don't know who is technically responsible for this but can someone, anyone ask D. what he is planning on doing about the Harry Potter series that opens July 15th? Me personally I along with a few others plan on boycotting this H.P. opening in July, it's a holiday movie to be shared and enjoyed with friends and family with hot chocolate in the cold weather not in the middle of July. Thanks again!

Kajal I think the car allocated spots for parking are way better than the SUV parking spots. You need to fix that, it seems that we are allowed the tiniest corner in the entire park and I always have to watch the movie from a weird angle! While 3/4 are for the cars.
Janis at 8:29pm June 26
Yet if an SUV is parked in the "better" spots, cars behind them won't be able to see at all.
