Sergiu, Where do I post a question? I have a question about the ASK campaign. If I set up a thought leader's ASK campaign, do I also handle the questions at my own autoresponder and ASK Database? And after an ASK campaign for myself, is it a good idea to set up a special page with replays? (because I may want to do a series of my own Ask Campaigns).

I am using ASK Database, Aweber, Xiosoft Instant Teleseminar, Wordpress, and Dragon Naturally Speaking.

I made the ASK page using ASK Database, then used it's autoresponder feature to send people's name and email address to Aweber.

In Aweber, I set up a welcome message, and monthly I create broadcast messages to remind people of the monthly ASK Geri teleseminar. ... See More

I advertise the monthly ASK teleseminar to my Wordpress blog and to my prospect email list in Aweber (a different list than the monthly ASK list).

I use Instant Teleseminar to run the actual teleseminar and record it.

I am training Dragon Naturally Speaking to my voice, because I would like to use it to transcribe the sessions.

I post the recording and transcript to my membership site.

Geri, How did you connect the Ask campaign to AWeber? I used 1shoppingcart because the templates were set up to connect there. Howver, I already had an AWeber account so that meant using a new system and paying for two separate autoresponders.
What is Xiosoft Instant Teleseminar - does that also include Webinars?

I like ths! I completely agree those "little messes" just get in the way - I can't think straight if they build up. The process of clearing them up is so therapeuitic to me, it allows me to focus on my work and my family. If you work from home this is especailly important.

Eva To anyone who is getting discouraged trying to get responses from your interview choice - let me tell you about someone I just met.

This man put together a set of demo tapes for a radio show. He presented them to the Program Manager of one of the top talk stations in Los Angeles (one of the biggest national markets). W...hen he didn't hear back, he called twice a week for SEVEN MONTHS - every single week.

One day, he got a call to try out as a guest host, live - competing with their other choice. They called him back the following week. Again the third week. The fourth week - Jeff Levy became the Computer Guy...now, the Digital Doctor on KABC.

So please, don't get discouraged. And don't worry about rejection. It could just be bad timing. Your message will get through.

Meanwhile, of course, find other people so you can go forward. The more practice you have with other people - and post it, the more eager your choice will be to work with you.

Eva. Great story! Like sales, you may need to keep knocking on a particular door until you get a firm NO. Even then, not a bad idea to knock a few more times. Plus, there are millions of other doors where you may get a much warmer welcome.

In sales, timing is always an issue and persistency is expected. When I was a VP sales & marketing I respected a salesperson who didn't waste my time but always had something new to say when trying to get my business. So try different tactics; for example if you want a radio interview mail them a great PR package in a bright colored envelope and... See More when you call tell the producer your PR kit is in the blue envelope (saves them time when digging through the pile). And a PR kit get passed around the Monday morning meetings when they are trying to decide what guests to book.
