Mike Webster Do you remember me? ... I had a pretty long conversation with you in a coffee shop called Fair Grounds Coffee in Milwaukee, WI. It was an open mic night and you played a couple songs before Matthew West. Must have been idk four years ago..? I LOVE writing music, but I've kinda hit a plateau.. your music always inspires me, and I love it so much, but lately, nothing comes out to write down. When I hit blocks like that I just read more. I think reading makes me write more, and even when it's not good, you just have to keep writing.

Most of my songs come from journal entries. I journal constantly, after a conversation, or a message, or in my quiet time. Then I go back and read them later, and sometimes songs just pop out.
