It was a positive week for the stock market as earnings reports began to wind down. It was a news-packed week as most of the data released showed that the economy is stabilizing.
The DOW closed the week higher, gaining 310.69 points, or 3.2%, to close at 10,023.42. The S&P also finished the week in the green, rising 33.19 points, or 3.2%, ending at 1,069.30. The NASDAQ concluded the week on a positive note, rising 67.10 points, or 3.3%, to close at 2,112.21.
