RTE the Irish national television station had a top tea taste-off in studio between Lyons, Barry's, Bewley's and an own brand supermarket label. Bewley's was voted the overall winner for taste and refreshment by a consumer panel on this leading afternoon TV show.

Many thanks for the great prize, received just in time for the big day. I work in St. Patrick's NS in Greystones and, to date, the parents who attended and the staff have raised over €500. WE decided to leave the boxes out for another week or so, just in case we can encourage any more coppers/ silver/ silent money fro...m any more people . Now in its sixteenth year the coffee morning is an all island fundraising event, which raises vital funds for local hospice services all over Ireland. The target this year is to raise €2.5 million – that’s over 1.25 million cups of Bewley’s coffee.

takes place in the RDS Dublin on Tuesday 29th September 2009. Seventeen cup
tasting specialists will battle it out to win the chance to represent Ireland at the 7th World Cup Tasting Championship

of coffee tasting, to educate coffee professionals and to promote the concept

Carol fell in love with Bewley's when visiting Ireland from Chicago in February of 2003. I search for it all over the South Side of Chicago where it's ALL Irish here!! Love the breakfast tea!!

It was a simple thing but meant the world to him... I have heard so many stories from so many people telling of the loving care provided by the hospice to make each persons death as good as it can be the for person, in what ever way will make it better for them.Read More
