Tomorrow night Nov. 10th at 7:15 pm is the Cheyenne Wells Town Council Meeting. Part of the ordinance they will be voting on states, " Wild bees shall be considered a public nuisance and not allowed within the Town boundaries." This is a very serious situation for this small town. We will have to ask permission to appl...y for a permit but Mayor Baker has already seen to it that we don't fit the acre per animal requirement. In the first reading, bees were not addressed. Now we will not be allowed to have any bees. Same for my hens, we can't fulfill the acre per animal requirement. It is sad to see one man bully and intimidate a city council of men and women who have no clue as to bees and benefilts.
