Jarrett Brown threw a touchdown pass as West Virginia beat Louisville 17-9 on Saturday. Running back Noel Devine played sparingly after tweaking an ankle late in the first half and the Mountaineers (7-2, 3-1 Big East) were outgained 301-273, but improved to 6-0 at home.

I've been saying since early in the season that we (WV) aren't going to win the "big" games. I'm also a true WV Fan, BUT not this team = more precisely, not these coaches. We have a lot of talent, but????? When we should have been pass rushing with more than 3!!!! guys in the Connecticut game where they had over 360 yds. passing - we only TWICE ... Read Morerushed more than 3 - and the second time we rushed 5 was at the close of the game which saved the game for us. I could go on, but . . . I only want to say lookout next week, and the last 2 games after that. Sadly, WV will look pitiful if they continue playing like they are. I don't blame the players at all. I blame the coaching. I think it's time also to give the freshman quarterback some time on the field. We might see some improvement.
