The world's great
bicycle cities didn't become so through luck. Leaders
in Copenhagen, Portland, and Boulder decided many
years ago to organize their civic and business interests, their
political will and their infrastructure funding around the bicycle.

The Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin believes
that Milwaukee, and its s...urrounding communities, have the potential to
be among the world's great places to bike. You are invited to join the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin and fellow civic, business and community leaders for a casual networking event to meet others who want to transform Milwaukee by putting more bikes on the road. Please RSVP by Nov. 11 at kevin.hardman@bfw.org or 414.271.9685

Bittersweet. The closest I have ever come to getting seriously injured while riding was when a deer came bounding out of the woods onto the trail at a 90 degree angle to me. I thought life as I knew it was over when I felt the deer's warm breath on me. Fortunately the deer had more grace than I by executing a 90 degree jump then running alongside me till I came to a stop and thanked Mother Nature.

You lost my support on #2. Requiring it on "All" lands doesn't take into account the sensitive nature of much of the land bought under the program.
