Black Dyke Band Last concert of the year cancelled due to the snow a bit of a shame but it's been a good year. Thanks for the support. We wish all our friends and fans a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here's to 2010.

Disappointed at no concert but understood reasoning. We were visiting frields in Wakefield and started back earlier to Cumbria because of cancelled concert. Weather iffy all the way. Played Black Dyke CD's to chear us up!!! Happy Christmas to all fans.

The band were all on their way, Town Hall cancelled the concert as their staff couldn't get in. A real pity as that is a great concert, just glad everyone was safe though. Merry Christmas.

Black Dyke Band What a lovely concert last night in snowy Queensbury. Memorial concert for Geoffrey Whitham & Gordon Sutcliffe. In the front row of the audience was Joyce (Geoff's partner) Andy (Geoff's son). James Shepherd, John Slinger and David Pogson. John French's performance of Macushla was beautiful.

Black Dyke Band First two Christmas concerts done both in Halifax Victoria Theatre. Bradford Grammar tomorrow. Bad news tonight though, our band manager Mike Shenton has broken his leg badly and is in hospital.
