Mike - off the top of my head, I can't think of a winter horse vacation operation. But, I'd suggest calling the good folks at the Black Hills Badlands & Lakes office. I think as the scientific news gets out more about how beef induces rhumatoid arthritis, whereas bison does not (google m1 m2 histidine cattle mutation), the raising and consumption of bison meat will climb higher.

It's a coyote, you can tell by the longer thinner snout. Wolves resemble a German Shepard's snout, it is thicker and not as long. Just some FYI to distinguish between the two. :) Great photo, as well as the Coat is in superb condition! They seem to be having a great diet this year.

Yes, I worked with her and her sister Florence; also worked with Linda Johnson-Wetz for a couple of years. There were quite a few of us there. Some worked day shift and some worked nights.

Toni Apland-henderson have had cataract surgery on my right eye now and it's magical..i can see without glasses..left eye was for near and right for far so will still need to wear lenses to clear up the difference but what a wonderful world right now to see and be able to drive without glassess..sorry this is off topic.

Hell Canyon trail head near Jewel cave is another spectacular ride! I had a bit of a problem riding the ledge but if you can stomach heights I would reccomend the ride!

Derek Rasmussen I would like to plan a trip to the hills next summer with the horses. can anyone recomend what trails i should look into? difficulty is not much of an issue. i've been all over the hills several times in my life but never to much of the back country. this seems like a very good way to experience it.

Iron Creek has a great trail. It's my favorite. Lots of water crossings, not too rough on the hooves.
